Attracting global defence investment. In two and a half minutes flat.

Historically, Defence SA has used the D+I Conference & Trade Expo as a platform to promote South Australia as a premier destination for defence investment amongst top military personnel and defence company executives. Nicknack’s task was to create the audio-visual presentation, which would serve as a backdrop for the SA Premier’s inaugural speech. The storyline was constructed around three high points involving the state’s involvement in key military projects – Air Warfare Destroyer and Submarine, ASLAV and Joint Strike Fighter – using realistic animation models. This positioned South Australia as a tech savvy destination ripe with defence resources and opportunities.
